Installing Social Metrics Pro
Simply upload the plugin ZIP file from your WordPress Plugins menu by going to Plugins -> Add New -> Upload, and activate the plugin. Alternatively you can extract the plugin ZIP file and manually upload the social-metrics-pro folder to your plugins directory, activate it and it should work out of the box.
Detailed Installation Instructions:
- If you are using the Social Metrics Free version, deactivate it from the Plugins menu
- Remove any existing versions OF Social Metrics Pro by deleting social-metrics-pro folder from the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
- Extract and upload the social-metrics-pro folder to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory. Alternatively, upload the plugin ZIP file from Plugins menu by going to Plugins -> Add New -> Upload
- Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress
- Go to Social Metrics Pro Settings page and enter License Information. Configure the other options if desired
- Review and Save Changes
- Now go to Social Metrics Pro Dashboard located below the Dashboard menu to start using the plugin
Updating Social Metrics Pro
Automatic Update:
You can use WordPress Autoupdate feature to update Social Metrics Pro. Navigate to WordPress Dashboard -> Updates. Social Metrics Pro will be listed under Plugins section whenever a new version is available. Select the checkbox next to Social Metrics Pro and click Update Plugins button and the plugin should get updated automatically.
Manual Update:
You can also update the plugin manually by downloading and installing the latest version by replacing old plugin folder with the new one.
